I come from GRF, where there are step by step procedures to get a standard purity of gold and other PM's .
I'm hopeing for that to happen here and it will. IMO, the wealth of quality replicateable info comes from those with their feet already up! Even if they have purple stained hands.
I must admit. I'm late to even starting a serious portfolio or plan. I Had one I'm my 20's, but I was wiley and irresponsible.
If u have heard of Bigger Pockets -podcast. I learned about FIRE there alot about owning your own business. I learned legit can be more profitable and fulfilling. Which I needed to see with my own eyes. What's hip Now is hustling or illegitimate things. I committed to legit a decade ago and its been a slow roll.
My hobbies and interests have taught me that earning potential is in education. Profitability is correlated by discipline.
I've Said too much, but I do because this forum to work honesty abd modesty will be peeked off. Retirement details are more personal than recipes. I hope sifting through chaff is verifiable easily heading into this. I am eager to apply methods discussed here. Strategies that may be early on the scene.abdcincentuves by our government. Secret I don't have to fail first to achieve. We are here to share these nuggets, amongst like minded humans.
Had I found bigger pockets in 2006 when I worked for pilot travel centers I may have been a real estate portfolio owner.
And I still will be. Allow us to open on that subject.
The BRRR [Buy, renovate, rent, refunance repeat.) A ckosr friend is doung that every 30 days, with mobile homes in central florida 15k$ initial prchase (lot with septic to accomodate 1,:2 is a nice bonus often)abd 15cbudget fir complete demo to frame and rennovate. 1200$ a month. 5 years its paid back. maintenance, legal costs, insurance and taxes the rest is profit. Plus the land value doubling in that time. This to me us the difference between rich abd wealthy.
Just one stream of income.
When retirement is brought up. I always say 55. I'll work or hobby and donate until I die.
I would love to hit my goal of 55 and living from a place of needs met. With ability to help others.
These forums I spend alot of time reading and practicing what I'm passionate about and life is good.
Know your value. Learn how to increase it. My cost to live a day, is 17$. That's existing. Basic needs.
I average 300$ a day now for years. No w2 employment since 2019 (other than my own modest salary of about 150$ a day.)
I'm looking to grow. Learn to delegate. I HAVE much to learn. It took till 35 to appreciate the value of having a passion, to learn, profitably.
Early retirement forum, explain to me what retirement is or will be for you. It's like a school dressing room, it's a little different for everyone. ,
