Has anyone heard of Vaniqa for facial hair removal? My sister heard about this prescription cream but her GP is not familiar with it. Anyone in Canada used it or know if there are alternatives that work well? Thanks in advance!

Eh I read mixed reviews but mainly that Vaniqa works for some people just don't think it's a quick fix. There is a dedication aspect to it, like you've got to use it consistently. If you're in Canada, ask a pharmacist about it directly since they're often more up to date than GPs on this kind of stuff.

Yes, Vaniqa is a prescription cream available in Canada that helps slow down unwanted facial hair growth. If your sister's GP isnt familiar with it, seeing a dermatologist or trying an online consult might be the better move. Alternatives include medications like spironolactone or finasteride, but it's best to chat with a doctor to figure out what's right.
