Been lurking for a long time, I guess I finally decided to come out of my shell with this milestone that I wanted to share

I'm 32, single, working in tech doing remote work. Just calculated my 2025 numbers and I'm consistently hitting a 40% savings rate now, I started at 15% three years ago, so this feels huge. Current net worth is most in retirement accounts, some in taxable investing, and my emergency fund solid.
At my current rate, I'm looking at full FIRE around 48/50. But I've been thinking more about coastFIRE lately, maybe hitting my number by 40 and then downshifting to part time work I actually enjoy instead of this corporate grind.
But a aquick thought, is 40% sustainable in ling run or am I setting myself up for burnout?
Not gonna lie, this community has been a huge inspiration all the while I've been behind the scenes

Sustainability depends on whether you're comfortable or not. If it feels fine, keep going but if you feel like you're sacrificing too much, you could drop back to 35% so you don't burn out before hitting your goal

Had a friend come to me with something similar, I didn't know much then, but then we tried to work through it
