Slowing down time in early retirement?

I chanced upon an interesting article on Buzzfeed about why time seems to speed up as we get older. Apparently, there's a science to it, and it's a combination of our brains processing information more slowly and our lives becoming more routine, with fewer new, memorable experiences. It makes a lot of sense, especially now that I'm not in the daily grind anymore and the weeks kind of blend together. This made me think.. Have any of you found ways to intentionally slow down time? I'm trying to add new hobbies and travel into my routine, but I'd love to hear what's working for others.

I read an interesting article explaining why time seems to fly as we get older,, our brains process information more slowly and life becomes more routine with fewer memorable experiences. It really resonates now that my weeks often blur together. Im trying to slow things down by adding new hobbies and travel, but i'd love to hear what strategies others have found effective for making time feel fuller and more meaningful

Sometimes just mixing things up can really spark joy in your day. Whether it's taking a different route to work, trying that new restaurant everyone's talking about, or even just switching up your morning routine, these little moments can turn into tiny memories that make each day feel special and unique.

The whole "time speeding up" idea sounds like an excuse people use to avoid admitting their lives became boring, truth is, if your days blur, it's because you stopped chasing real challenges
